Exhaust Gas Recirculation: Service and Repair

11 71 025 Removing and installing/replacing throttle valve (M57T2)







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove acoustic cover







Unlock connector (1) and remove.
Unclip cable clip (3).
Unlock snap fastener (2) on pressure pipe.
Detach pressure pipe from exhaust-gas recirculation valve.







Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 11 71 4AZ
Remove the throttle valve from the exhaust-gas recirculation valve.







Installation note:
Clean sealing surfaces.
Replace gasket (1).







Assemble engine.
