Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

13 71 000 Removing And Installing/Replacing Intake Silencer Housing (N52T)







Necessary preliminary work:
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit
- Turn off ignition
- Remove left trailing link







Release clamp (1).
Tightening torque 13 71 2AZ.
Unlock plug (2) on air-mass sensor and disconnect.







Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 13 71 3AZ.
Lift out intake silencer housing.

Installation note:
Make sure intake silencer housing is correctly seated on stop buffer at bottom.
Make sure intake port (3) is correctly seated.
Only when replacing intake silencer housing, convert air-mass metre.







NOTE:
Check stored fault messages.
Delete fault memory.
