84 10 700 Removing and installing/replacing base plate







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear centre console storage compartment
- Remove centre console storage compartment







Release screw (1) and remove guide (2).







Release screw (1) and remove guide (2).
Remove base plate (3) upwards.

Installation note:
Make sure electrical routing is correct during installation of base plate.







Installation note:
Stop pad (1) on lower section of base plate must not be damaged or missing.







Installation note:
1. Preassemble stop pad (1) with punch (2) dia. 2.0 mm.
2. Coat mounting area with lubricant.
3. Insert stop pad (1) for base plate (3) towards direction of arrow.
