51 45 069 Replace The Decorative Trim Of The Control Panel







When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove radio







Disconnect plug connection (1).
Unlock latch mechanisms (3) on the IHKA controls (2) by pressing the retaining tabs (3) inward with a suitable tool.
At the same time, press the IHKA controls (2) forward out of the holder frame and remove.

Installation note:
The IHKA control (2) must be felt and heard to engage in the retaining frame.







Installation note:
Retaining lugs on trim cover (1) must not be damaged.







Unlock the retaining tabs (3) in the lower and side area of the radio control panel.
Remove radio control panel (1) from trim (4).

Installation note:
Retaining lugs (3) must not be damaged or missing.
Radio control panel (1) must noticeably and audibly engage in trim (4).
