Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

61 71 100 Removing And Installing/Replacing Windscreen Washer Pump







- Before replacing the windscreen washer pump, check the fluid reservoir for dirt contamination and clean if necessary.







NOTE: Drain washer fluid reservoir for windscreen washer system.







Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Unlock clamp (2) and pull off washer fluid line from windscreen washer pump (3).
Press windscreen washer pump (4) in direction of arrow.
Pull windscreen washer pump (4) upward out of fluid reservoir for windscreen washer system.







Installation note:
Renew sealing ring and strainer of windscreen washer pump.
Coat sealing ring of windscreen washer pump with lubricant.
Top up fluid reservoir for windscreen washer system.
