Circuit Operation

With the Headlamp Switch "PARK" or "HEAD" and the Fog Lamp Switch "ON," battery voltage is supplied to the Fog LPS Relay coil. The coil is grounded through the HI Beam filaments. The relay energizes and applies voltage to the Fog Lamps. The Fog Lamps glow. Since the coil of the Fog LPS Relay is grounded through the HI Beam filaments, the relay will de-energize any time the HI Beams are on because voltage is applied to both sides of the relay coil.
