Lamp Short Test

With all the doors closed, Headlamp Switch turned off and I/P Dimmer Switch turned off, disconnect the Door Mini Wedge Switches, Door Jamb Switches, Door Handle Switches (as necessary see schematic) and the RCDLR (if equipped) one at a time.
^ If the lamps go out when a particular component is disconnected, replace that component.
^ If the lamps remain lit with all switches disconnected, disconnect the Headlamp Switch. If lamps go out, check CKT 49 for a short to ground. If "OK" replace Headlamp Switch. If lamps remain lit repair short to ground in CKT 156.
