Troubleshooting Hints - Gauges and Warning Indicators

NOTE: Perform the following before beginning System Diagnosis:

1. Check the "PRNDL," "INST," and "HTR-A/C" fuses by visual inspection.
2. Check that all connectors in system are mated correctly.
3. Check for open in UART Data Line (CKT 800).
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) win inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check.
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of their systems.
