Troubleshooting Hints
PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS1. Check HDLP Circuit Breaker and HTR-A/C Fuse.
2. If BRAKE Indicator is lit with Ignition Switch in RUN and Park Brake released.
3. If Park lamps do not operate, refer to Exterior Lights. Lighting and Horns
4. Check that grounds G101, G102 and G200 are tight and clean.
5. If one Headlamp or Fog Lamp does not operate properly, check lamp, connections, and wires to lamp.
6. If Daytime Running Lamps do not operate properly, check lamp, connections, and wires to lamp.
7. if Automatic Lamp Control does not operate properly, check for obstruction in front of Photoresistor.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove GOOD in a continuity/voltage check.
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (refer to Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
