I/P Lamp Dimmer Control

The intensity of the instrument panel lamps are controlled by a rotary switch located to the left of the column.

Rotating the wheel on the rotary switch to the left will dim the instrument panel lamps. Rotating the wheel to the right will increase the instrument panel lamp intensity. When the wheel is in the full left position, the lip lamps headlamp warning chime will be off. The instrument panel lamps will only be illuminated when the collar on the left steering column lever is in the "Park Lamp" or "Headlamp" position and the tab on the instrument panel lamp dimmer control is not in the full left position.
