Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Replacement




Instrument Cluster Replacement

Removal Procedure

Important: The ignition switch must be in the OFF position when removing the instrument panel cluster.





1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement (Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement).
2. Remove the screws from the instrument panel cluster.
3. Rotate the top of the instrument panel cluster rearward and disengage the locating pins on the bottom of the instrument panel cluster.




4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the instrument panel cluster.
5. Remove the instrument panel cluster from the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connector to the instrument panel cluster.




2. Position the locating pins on the bottom of the instrument panel cluster to the pin receivers in the instrument panel.
3. Install the instrument panel cluster rotating the top of the instrument panel cluster forward and engage the locating pins on the bottom of the instrument panel cluster.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the screws to the instrument panel cluster.

Tighten the instrument panel cluster bolts to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

5. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement (Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement).
