Brake Switch - TCC: Description and Operation
DESCRIPTIONThe Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Brake Switch contains two sets of (normally closed) electrical contacts referred to as the TCC Brake and Extended Travel Brake Switch contacts. The TCC brake switch contacts provide brake status to the PCM for torque converter clutch control. The extended travel brake switch contacts are used in Torque Management to determine whether the brakes are applied.
