Troubleshooting Hints - Brake Transaxle Shift Interlock

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check CRUISE fuse in engine compartment fuse/relay center If open, check CKT 339 (PNK) for a short to ground.
2. Check shift mechanism for mechanical binding.
3. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems. (Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,"). Diagnostic Aids
