Lumbar Actuator Replacement: Manual (If Equipped)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Lumbar Actuator Replacement - Manual (If equipped): Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the front seatback cushion cover.
The front seatback cushion cover, cushion and heating element does not have to be separated to replace lumbar components.
3. Remove the lumbar adjuster rods.
3.1. Unsnap the ring from the end of the adjuster rods.
3.2. Slide rods off of the lumbar actuator.

4. Remove the lumbar actuator.
Drill out two rivets from the lumbar actuator mounting plate to release it form the seatback frame.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Lumbar Actuator Replacement - Manual (If equipped): Installation Procedure:

1. Install the lumbar actuator. Install two rivets to the lumbar actuator mounting plate to secure it to the seatback frame.
2. Install the lumbar adjuster rods.
3. Install the front seatback cushion cover.
4. Install the front seat.
