Blower Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the RF floor air outlet.
3. Remove the I/P compartment.
4. Remove the side air vent supply duct. (Bend downward at the accordion section of the supply duct in order to remove the duct from the side air vent.)




5. Remove the blower motor housing screws.
6. Remove the blower motor housing.




7. Remove the blower motor screws.
8. Remove the blower motor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the blower motor to the housing.
2. Install the blower motor screws until fully seated and not stripped.
3. Install the blower motor housing.
4. Install the blower motor housing screws. Tighten the screws to 4 Nm (35 lb in).
5. Install the supply ducts:
^ Insert the supply duct into the module.
^ Bend at the accordion section in order to position.
6. Install the I/P compartment.
7. Install the RF floor air outlet.
8. Connect the battery negative cable.
9. Reprogram applicable accessories.
