Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair

Cable To Module Connection:

Cruise Control Cable Installation:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Cruise control cable retainer at left strut tower.
2. Cruise control cable at TBI cam and engine bracket.
3. Cruise control cable from cruise control module. Turn cable lock until cable disengages from module.
4. Release cable from connector on module cord.
Important
^ Note cable routing for replacement.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Cruise control cable to cruise control module cord connector.
Important
^ Nylon cord from module must be flat and not twisted.
2. Seat cable end into module and turn until cable is locked to module.
3. Cruise control cable to TBI cam and engine bracket.
^ Hold TBI at closed position and engage adjustment lock.
4. Cruise control cable retainer to left strut tower.
