Instrument Panel Cluster Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDUREIP Cluster Replacement: Removal Procedure:
1. Remove the center air deflector.
2. Screw from right-hand the side of instrument cluster.
3. Rotate the steering wheel to expose screw location on upper steering column cover.
4. Screw the plug from left side of upper steering column cover.
5. Rotate the steering wheel to expose the right side of cover.
6. Remove the screw plug from right-side of upper steering column cover.
7. Remove the upper column cover from steering column.
8. Remove the screw from upper column cover collar (screw also retains bottom of I/P).
9. Remove collar from upper column.
10. Dislodge the right side of instrument cluster.
IP Cluster Replacement: Removal Procedure:
11. Remove the wiring harness connector (1) from right side of cluster (2).
12. Remove the slide unit right enough to allow the left side of the cluster to clear left vent housing.
13. Remove the work cluster out of mounting location gently.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
IP Cluster Replacement: Installation Procedure:
1. Install the cluster into mounting position by inserting left side of cluster into vent housing.
2. Install the wiring harness connector (1) to cluster (2).
3. Install the seat cluster in carrier.
4. Install the collar to upper column.
5. Install the collar screw to collar.
Tighten
Tighten the collar screw until seated by not stripped.
6. Screw the right-hand side of cluster.
Tighten
Tighten the screw until seated by not stripped.
7. Rotate the steering wheel to expose the right side of upper steering column cover.
8. Install the upper column cover to steering column.
9. Install the right screw to column cover.
10. Install the right screw plug to upper steering column cover.
11. Rotate the steering wheel to expose the left cover screw location.
12. Install the left screw to column cover.
13. Install the left screw plug steering column cover.
14. Install the center air deflector.
15. Verify cluster operation.
