Not all of the tools listed require this specific application. If a procedure requires a special tool, the diagnostic procedure will call out the J number. Before you use any tool, first know the tool°s abilities and limitations. This knowledge should include the scan tool operation, the proper use of test lights, the jumper wires, and the DVM.
