Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Washer Solvent Container Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the grille.
2. Disconnect the pump wiring harness connector (8).
3. Remove the motor (7) from the solvent container (5).
4. Remove the filter (6).
5. Inspect the filter. Clean or replace as needed.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Washer Solvent Container Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Install the filter (6)
2. Install the motor (7) to the solvent container (5).
3. Connect the pump connector (8).
4. Install the grille.
5. Verify the motor operation.
