Wiper Motor Linkage: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the air inlet grilles.
2. Remove the power brake booster vacuum hose.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the windshield wiper motor.
4. Remove the windshield wiper transmission screws.
5. Remove the windshield wiper transmission with the motor.

Wiper Motor Replacement: Removal Procedure:

6. Remove the windshield wiper transmission upper link (1).
7. Remove the windshield wiper motor bracket bolts (5) from the windshield wiper transmission (2).
8. Remove the windshield wiper motor (4) from the windshield wiper transmission (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Wiper Motor Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Install the windshield wiper motor (4) to the windshield wiper transmission (2).
2. Install the windshield wiper motor bracket bolts (5) to the windshield wiper transmission (2).
3. Install the windshield wiper transmission upper link (1).




4. Install the windshield wiper transmission with the motor.
5. Install the windshield wiper transmission screws.
6. Connect the wiring harness connector to the windshield wiper motor.
7. Install the power brake booster vacuum hose.
8. Install the air inlet grilles.
