Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDUREWiper Motor Replacement: Removal Procedure:
1. Remove the windshield wiper transmission.
2. Remove the windshield wiper transmission upper link (1) from the windshield wiper motor crank arm (6).
3. Remove the windshield wiper transmission nut (7) from the motor (4).
4. Remove the crank arm (6) from the motor (4).
5. Remove the motor bracket bolts (5) from the motor (4).
6. Remove the motor (4) from the transmission (2).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Wiper Motor Replacement: Removal Procedure:
1. Install the motor (4) to the transmission (2).
2. Install the motor bracket bolts (5) to the motor (4).
3. Install the motor crank arm (6) to the motor (4).
4. Install the transmission nut (7) to the motor (4) until fully seated and not stripped.
5. Install the transmission upper link (1) to the motor crank arm (6).
6. Install the windshield wiper transmission.
