Auxiliary Water Pump: Service and Repair
HEATER WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT - AUXILIARYRemoval Procedure
1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
2. Disconnect the pump connector.
3. Remove the pump hoses.
4. Remove the cruise control module bracket nuts (4).
5. Remove the bracket.
6. Remove the pump from the wheelhouse panel.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the pump to the wheelhouse panel.
2. Position the cruise control module bracket.
3. Install the bracket nuts (4) until fully seated and not stripped.
4. Install the pump hoses.
5. Connect the pump connector.
6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
