Courtesy Lamps

The courtesy lamps, include the root rail courtesy lamps, the front side door courtesy lamps, and the dome lamp. The courtesy lamps, may be manually turned ON or OFF by the interior lamp switch, or when a door is opened (illuminated entry). The courtesy lamps will also illuminate when a restraint system has been activated. The courtesy lamps will turn on with the doors closed by using the interior lamp switch, for ten minutes after the driver removes the ignition key. The interior lamp switch will override any BCM operation of the interior lamps.
