Auxiliary Water Pump: Service and Repair
HEATER WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT - AUXILIARYRemoval Procedure
1. Partially drain the cooling system.
2. Disconnect the auxiliary heater pump electrical connector.
3. Remove the auxiliary heater pump hoses.
4. Remove the auxiliary heater pump bracket nuts (4).
5. Remove the auxiliary heater pump (3) from the wheelhouse panel.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the auxiliary heater pump (3) to the wheelhouse panel.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the auxiliary heater pump bracket nuts (4).
Tighten the auxiliary heater pump bracket nuts (4) to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
3. Install the auxiliary heater pump hoses.
4. Connect the auxiliary heater pump electrical connector.
5. Fill the cooling system.
