Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

WASHER PUMP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the hood.
2. Drain the washer solvent from the washer solvent container.
3. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector.
4. Remove the washer pump from the solvent container.
5. Remove the washer pump hose from the washer pump.
6. Remove the washer pump filter from the solvent container.
7. Inspect the washer pump filter. Clean or replace as needed.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the washer pump filter.
2. Install the washer pump hose to the washer pump.
3. Install the washer pump to the solvent container.
4. Connect the washer pump electrical connector.
5. Fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.
6. Close the hood.
