Information on XM Activation After Radio Replacement

2008 Cadillac CTS

The purpose of this bulletin is to remind technicians that the Digital Radio Receiver (DRR) for the XM band needs to be setup after the radio is replaced. The 2008 CTS uses an integrated Digital Radio Receiver that is built into the radio. The CTS will require a radio setup and an XM activation every time the radio is replaced. Refer to the Radio Programming and Setup procedure in SI.
