Correction
Important
If the updated ECM is installed without obtaining the 2009 model year calibrations, the vehicle may return with a P0174 again. Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
1. Perform routine diagnosis. Refer to DTC P0174 in SI.
2. Carefully inspect the engine, intake ducts, air box and vacuum hoses for leaks. Repair as necessary.
3. If DTC P0174 is set without other DTCs and routine diagnosis using SI does not reveal any obvious causes, replace the ECM with P/N 12625453. After replacement, program the ECM. Refer to Engine Control Module Programming and Setup (with RPO LC3 or LH2) in SI.
Note
Contact Techline Customer Support Center to request 2009 model year calibrations before programming the updated ECM. Techline will map your VIN number to the 2009 ECM calibrations. After calling Techline, follow the Engine Control Module Programming and Setup Instructions in SI to complete the repair.
