Passenger Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the I/P carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Remove the bolts retaining the passenger knee bolster bracket to the passenger SIR bracket.
3. Remove the passenger knee bolster bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the passenger knee bolster bracket.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the retaining bolts that secure the passenger knee bolster bracket to the passenger SIR bracket and tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb in).
3. Install the I/P carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement (Service and Repair).
