1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument cluster bezel, Fig. 14.
3. Remove 6 cluster retaining screws, then pull cluster back and disconnect speedometer cable and electrical connectors.
4. Reverse procedure to install.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove close out panel, 8 screws securing steering column cover and the cover, Fig. 15.
3. Remove right control pod as outlined in ``Wiper Switch, Replace,'' and left pod as outlined in ``Headlamp Switch, Replace.''
4. Remove 3 cluster bezel retaining screws and the bezel; 5 cluster lens retaining screws and the lens.
5. Remove nuts securing steering column bracket and lower steering column.
6. Pull cluster away from carrier, disconnect electrical connectors and remove cluster.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
