Some 1986 Chevrolet Nova model vehicles may experience cracking of the radio antenna mast mounting base (see Figure 1) resulting in unsightly appearance and possible loose attachment of the antenna mast.

Involved are all 1986 Chevrolet Nova model vehicles built within the following VIN breakpoints:

SPECIAL POLICY ADJUSTMENT

Should the antenna base crack, General Motors will replace the antenna assembly. This policy covers both parts and labor for a period of three (3) years, with no mileage limitation, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service.

This "SPECIAL POLICY ADJUSTMENT BULLETIN" should be filed in the three ring binder furnished to the dealer by General Motors.
