This bulletin serves to update the acceptable TPS Voltage Range currently being used in Section 6E2 "Driveability And Emissions" of the 1987-1989 2.OL (VIN 1) and 1990 2.2L (VIN G) "J" and "L" Carline Service Manuals. Presently, the specification is .45V to 1.25V.

The now specification has now been revised to .33V to 1.33V. A TPS whose voltage falls outside this new specification at closed throttle should, after checking connections, be replaced.
