CODE 22, TPS CIRCUIT LOW

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Code 22 means that the ECM has seen the following:
a. Low voltage at ECM terminal "2".
b. For a time in excess of 20 seconds.

CHART DESCRIPTION
1. Checks to see which code will be set with the TPS disconnected.
2. If Code 22 is reset, fault is a TPS electrical circuit problem. If the circuit is OK, normal voltage reading will be about 5 volts.
3. If Code 21 is setor the "SCAN" displays 200MV OR MORE, the TPS is faulty.
