Customer comments of lack of power, slow acceleration, or poor performance may be due to the underhood blanket restricting the fresh air intake of the air cleaner.
To repair this condition a section of the hood blanket should be cut out as indicated in the illustration.
This condition may be present on vehicles produced prior to the following VIN breakpoints.
