Starter Motor: Service and Repair

V6-173 ENGINE
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support front of vehicle.
3. Disconnect solenoid wires and battery cable at starter motor.
4. Remove starter attaching bolts, then carefully lower starter. Note position of shims, if used.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
