The front suspension, Fig. 1, is of the MacPherson strut, independent type. A strut support anchors the upper end of the strut to the body. The lower end of the strut is connected to the upper end of the steering knuckle. The lower end of the steering knuckle is attached to the ball joint, which is mounted to the suspension control arm.
