Test B: Switch Module Test
1. Disconnect the switch module connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminal B and the appropriate switch connector (see schematic diagrams).a. If the resistance is infinite ohms, go to step 2.
b. If the resistance is less than infinite ohms, replace the switch module.
2. With the appropriate switch held in the closed (ON) position, measure the resistance between terminal B and that switch terminal.
a. If the resistance is zero ohms, check the appropriate wire for an open or short to ground. If good, then replace the instrument cluster.
b. If resistance is not zero ohms, replace the switch module.
