Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

Condenser:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Recover refrigerant from system.
3. Top splash guard.
4. Grille support brackets.
5. Hood latch assembly.
6. Air baffle.
7. Air horn extension.
8. Condenser bracket bolts.
9. Bolt at condenser block union.
10. Condenser, upward in front of radiator while tilting up driver's side.

Install or Connect
1. Condenser, tilting upward and inserting in front of radiator.
2. Bolt at condenser block union.
3. Condenser bracket bolts.
4. Lines (with new 0-rings).
5. Refrigerant oil, see Refrigerant Oil Distribution. Specifications
6. Evacuate A/C system (while completing remainder of installation procedures). Service and Repair
7. Air horn extension.
8. Air baffle.
9. Hood latch assembly.
10. Grille support brackets.
11. Splash guard.
12. Negative battery cable.
13. Charge A/C system.
