Assemble
1. Install two pins in rear cylinder, if removed.
2. Lubricate new O-ring with refrigerant oil and install in rear cylinder.
3. Install rear suction valve over pins on rear cylinder, if removed.
4. Install rear valve plate together with discharge valve over pins on rear cylinder, if removed. Rear valve plate is marked ``R'' and front valve plate is marked ``F.''
5. Lubricate gasket with refrigerant oil and install gasket on valve plate.
6. Install rear housing on cylinder.
7. Install two pins in front cylinder.
8. Lubricate new O-ring with refrigerant oil and install in front housing.
9. Install front suction valve over pins on front cylinder.
10. Install front valve plate together with discharge valve over pins on front cylinder.
11. Lubricate gasket with refrigerant oil and install gasket on valve plate.
12. Install front housing on front cylinder and gradually tighten six through bolts in two or three phases, torquing to 18.1-19.5 ft. lbs.
13. Fit shaft seal to SST No. 07114-15010 or equivalent, apply oil to bore, insert SST, and turn it to left while pressing lightly, then pull up SST.
14. Place shaft plate in boss in front housing and press in using SST No. 07112-25010 or equivalent.
15. Using suitable hammer and SST No. 07114-45010 or equivalent, install key in shaft groove by tapping lightly.
16. Install felt inside bore.
17. Fill compressor with 2-3.4 oz. new refrigerant oil.
18. Lubricate new O-rings with refrigerant oil and install O-rings in service valves.
19. Install service valves on compressor, torquing bolts to 18.1-19.5 ft. lbs.
20. Check that shaft rotating torque is 2.2 ft. lbs. or less.
21. Install clutch assembly.
