Subject: POWER STEERING RETURN HOSE/PUMP PULLEY CLEARANCE


Model and Year: 1991 CAPRICE (POLICE CARS RPO 9C1)





Condition: Some 1991 B-car police cars (RPO 9C1) may exhibit less than desired clearance between the power steering return hose and pump pulley.

Cause: Power steering cooler pipe deflected or mispositioned during assembly or vehicle servicing.

Correction: Install plastic retaining clip, P/N 22527092 on power steering cooler pipes as shown in Illustration.
