Troubleshooting Hints - Interior Lights Dimming

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

Note: This section does not address conditions with the operation of the Daytime Running Lights. If the Interior lights work with the Light Switch, but do not operate automatically, see DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS.

1. If No interior Lights work:

^ Check TAIL Fuse, ORN (240) wire and Light Switch by observing the Park Lights (see schematic).

^ Check INST LPS Fuse.

2. If a group of interior Lights does not come on, check the wires to the suspect lights (see schematic).

3. If a single interior Light does not come on, check the bulb socket and related wires.

4. if Dimmer Switch will not vary the brilliance of interior Lights, replace Light Switch.

5. If interior Lights will not turn off, replace Light Switch.

6. Check that G112, G118, G200 and G302 are clean and tight.
