Power Mirror

Each Mirror Assembly has two reversible motors: one to adjust the mirror view up and down, the other to adjust the mirror view right and left. The driver operates four switches that control the polarity of the voltage to the motors. The Mirror Select Switch directs these control voltages to either the RH or LH Mirror Assembly.

To move the LH Mirror up, set the Mirror Select Switch to the "LEFT" position and the Mirror Adjuster Control to the "UP" position. Voltage is applied to terminal "C" of LH Mirror Assembly through the motor to C503 terminal "B" and the Mirror Select Switch back to Mirror Adjuster Control to ground. To move the LH Mirror down, move the Mirror Adjuster Control to the "DOWN" position. Voltage is applied to the Mirror Select Switch terminal "B" through C503 terminal "B" to the LH Mirror Assembly back through C5O3 terminal "C" to the Mirror Adjuster Control to ground.

Similar switch operations take place in moving the mirror "LEFT" or "RIGHT."

The RH Mirror operates in a similar manner to the LH Mirror.
