Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
If a system fault is detected, the LED indicator above the mode button depressed on the control head will flash for one minute. Fault codes will then be stored. Fault codes are only stored when a system fault us present. History codes cannot be set except for Code 09 (Low Freon). To enter the diagnostic mode, push and hold the fan "up" arrow and fan "down" arrow at the same time for approximately 5 seconds.
The LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) will show "-00." Push "AUTO FAN" and the LCD will show any fault codes stored in the programmer.

Electronic A/C Parameters:
While in the diagnostic mode, it is possible to check different system parameters (circuits or systems). This is done by pressing the fan "up" or fan "down" button. Once the parameter to be checked has been chosen, the fan "AUTO" button is pressed and a diagnostic value is displayed on the LCD. A list of system parameters and their normal operating ranges can be found in the illustration.
For further diagnosis of electronic automatic air conditioning system codes, refer to the diagnostic charts in this system. To exit diagnostics, change to a different electronic automatic air conditioning system mode. Testing and Inspection
