Troubleshooting Hints - Interior Lights Dimming

1. Check to see if Central Control Module (CCM) Codes 71, 72, 73 or 74 are set before proceeding. If set, refer to Body Electrical section for code diagnosis.
2. Make sure Park Lamps turn "ON" and "OFF" normally before proceeding with diagnostics, refer to "Exterior Lights" for Park Lamp diagnosis.
3. If Panel Lamps stay "ON" all the time, but Park Lamps operate normally, repair short to B + in CKT 44, CKT 8 or CKT 1458.
4. Make sure grounds G201 and G202 are clean and tight.
5. If one Panel Lamp does not operate, check the GRY (or GRY/ELK) and BLK wires to suspect Panel Lamp for opens, bent terminals, etc. If OK, replace Panel Lamp bulb (See Schematic).
