Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove horn pad and steering wheel as described under ``Steering Wheel, Replace.''
3. Remove tilt lever from column, if equipped, Fig. 9.
4. Remove upper and lower steering column covers.
5. Remove dampener assembly, then the headlight switch assembly.
6. Remove windshield wiper switch assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
