Shift Linkage: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove shift knob, console and shift boot.
3. Remove shift cables from shifter control assembly by twisting between cable socket and control lever with suitable screwdriver.
4. Remove spring clips retaining cables to control assembly.
5. Remove shift control assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
