Fig. 29 Multi-function Lever Replacement. 1990-92:

1. Disarm airbag system as outlined under ``Precautions.''
2. Pull column housing end toward from of vehicle and remove cover, Fig. 29.
3. Disconnect electrical connector and grommet.
4. Pull outward on multi-function lever to release from detent.
5. Reverse procedure to install. When installing, position lever in off position, then align lever tab with mounting slot.
6. Rearm airbag system as outlined under ``Precautions.''
