Instrument Cluster Replacement
1. Remove instrument panel pad and trim plates.2. Remove sound insulators, then steering column trim panel.
3. Remove accessory trim plate.
4. Remove audio system, then headlamp switch.
5. Remove instrument cluster assembly as follows:
a. Remove air cleaner assembly.
b. Remove screws holding cluster, then disconnect electrical connectors.
c. Remove automatic transaxle control indicator cable, if equipped.
6. Remove ventilation controls, then data link connector (DLC).
7. Remove parking brake release handle, then ashtray and bracket.
8. Remove lower compartment, fuse block, then lower the steering column.
9. Remove two bolts above steering column and bolts from ventilation duct.
10. Remove front door opening carpet retainer.
11. Remove instrument panel center support bolts, then center support.
12. Disconnect instrument panel wiring harness, then remove instrument panel bolts.
13. Remove instrument panel by pulling top out, then lifting panel up and out.
14. Reverse procedure to install.
