1. Remove lefthand lower trim panel as follows:
a. Remove retainer securing lower trim panel to stud on steering column.
b. Remove trim panel mounting screws, then the trim panel.
c. Remove DLC connector assembly mounting screw, then disconnect courtesy lamp electrical connector.
2. Remove driver's knee bolster as follows:
a. Pull down carpet from upper corner of lefthand console side trim panel.
b. Remove screws from flip down access door. Bend door down to access bolster retaining screws.
c. Remove screws from knee bolster brackets, then the knee bolster.
3. Remove steering column support bolts, then lower steering column.
4. Remove cluster bezel attaching screws, then the bezel, Fig. 24.
5. Remove cluster mounting screws, Fig. 25, then disconnect cluster electrical connectors.
6. Remove instrument cluster from vehicle.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque cluster mounting screws to 16 inch lbs.
b. Torque bezel mounting screws to 29 inch lbs.
