Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

All instrument cluster diagnostic display functions begin with the automatic code display sequence. Manual Mode will automatically be entered upon completion of the automatic code display sequence, or may be entered at any time during the sequence by pressing any button on the Driver Information Center (DIC). The buttons on the DIC are used to select different diagnostic options and step through the diagnostic functions.

The indicator "---" will be displayed on the speedometer if the end or the beginning of a list of codes is reached (using the "NEXT VALUE" or "PREVIOUS VALUE" button). The "---" will also be displayed if no codes are present for the module being checked.
