Horn: Description and Operation

The Horns are activated by the Horn Switches or the Central Control Module (CCM) as part of the Theft Deterrent System. When a Horn Switch is depressed, one side of the coil of the Horn Relay is grounded, energizing the Horn Relay. When energized, battery voltage is applied to Horns through the relay contacts.

CCM will energies the Horn Relay with a pulsing "ON/OFF" signal when an illegal entry to vehicle is detected by various inputs to the CCM. Refer to Theft Deterrent System. Antitheft and Alarm Systems
